Changing the wax guard on the hearing aid depends entirely on personal use and ear wax build-up in the ear canal. Most hearing aid users will change the wax guard every 3-4 weeks, yet for others, it could be fortnightly or every other month. When cleaning the hearing aid, monitor the ear wax production – if the wax guard is clogged, or is starting to get clogged, it is time for replacing it.
