Ultimate Ears Line Drive

Ultimate Ears Line Drive is a small black, battery-powered stereo buffer that "conditions" the audio signal to drive your headphones, In-ear monitors or ear buds. Ultimate Ears Line Drive is connected between the mixing console, or personal monitoring system, or smart phone, tablet or laptop, and your In-ear Monitors, ear buds or any brand of headphones.

What are the benefits of using Line Drive?

Line Drive presents a high impedance, easy to drive interface to an audio source device and a low impedance robust output to an In-ear Monitor. The benefit is that it eliminates the electrical interaction between source device and low impedance In-ear Monitor and renders the intended In-ear Monitor frequency curve. Without Line Drive, high impedance headphone outputs, 6 -150 Ohms, do not provide the proper frequency response of the In-ear Monitor as designed.
