Acoustix' amplified electronic medical stethoscope range is ideal for the medical, educational and industrial sector requiring top quality instruments.
If you are a medical professional who frequently works in a noisy environment, or who is experiencing hearing loss, or who is wearing hearing aids, and need to use an amplified stethoscope for patient monitoring in your daily practice, then come and see us and we will discuss and provide the right sound amplifying electronic stethoscope for you.
Powered by a AAA battery, the Cardionics E-Scope II is a second generation electronic amplified stethoscope designed to maximize the audibility and hearing of heart and lung sounds for correct diagnosis.
Core features are a slim-line design and a volume control and sound selector switch on the head of the amplified stethoscope.
The sound selector switch makes it easy and convenient for switching between heart and lung sounds and listen to them in their correct frequency range.
And when not in use, the E-Scope's timer will turn off the stethoscope after approximately 1.5 to 2 minutes to conserve AAA battery life.
The Cardionics amplified stethoscope can be worn comfortably draped around your neck.
Powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, the Thinklabs One is the smallest most powerful electronic amplified stethoscope on the market. It can amplify up to a 100x, while being lightweight and elegant in design and function.
Record and share heart and lung sounds using your iPhone, iPad, Android or Mac/PC.
Thinklabs One opens up a world of possibilities for safe distance Auscultation, Telemedicine, Education, Research and collecting Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Heart sounds have a frequency range of 20 - 650Hz and lung sounds have a frequency range of 70-2000Hz.
Please be aware that when using the Cardionics E-Scope II amplified electronic stethoscope with your hearing aid for auscultation of the heart, lungs or Korotkoff (blood pressure) sounds, their audibility may be limited by the capability of your hearing aids or the interface used between your hearing aids and the Cardionics E-Scope II amplified electronic stethoscope.
Hearing aids are designed to enhance voice and speech sounds that have a frequency range from approximately 500 - 4000Hz. Some hearing aids can be programmed for the amplification of lower frequencies. However, even with the additional low frequency amplification, your hearing aids may still not be able to reproduce the audibility of heart and lung sounds accurately enough for their correct diagnosis. Some individuals may have hearing loss in the same frequency range as heart and lung sounds, which is not compensated for by their hearing aids.
For these reasons, it is recommended that you consult with your audiologist for advice covering your hearing loss and the response of your hearing aids. Contact us if you or your audiologist require assistance.
There are good reasons for using the Cardionics E-Scope II amplified electronic stethoscope over an acoustic stethoscope.
By using the Cardionics electronic amplified stethoscope you will be able to:
